NAQSHE licence
Three things are worth keeping apart: the code that draws them, the NAQSHE itself as an artwork, and the token on the blockchain that records who holds it.
| Contract source | MIT licence, as declared in the published source. Anyone may read, reuse and adapt it under that licence. |
| Each NAQSHE's artwork | Copyright remains with Beinol; the current holder of the token receives the licence below. |
| The token | Yours outright while it is in your wallet. You can keep it, sell it, give it away. |
| Name, logo, this site | Belong to Beinol. Not licensed except as needed to refer to the collection. |

RugBmp Smart Contract (Ethereum Mainnet): not deployed yet
Each NAQSHE's artwork is the image this contract draws from its seed, and its collector is the address this contract records for its token. This licence follows that record.

Your NAQSHE
While you hold a NAQSHE's token, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy and display that NAQSHE's artwork, including the bitmap and the Rug and NAQSHE renderings of it, for:
- Personal use: as an avatar, a wallpaper, in your wallet or a virtual gallery, or printed for yourself.
- Selling the token: on any marketplace, showing the artwork to do so.
- Commercial use: on merchandise, prints, or a physical rug knotted from its map, provided you do not suggest the result is made or endorsed by us.
The licence follows the token. When you transfer it, the licence passes to the new holder and yours ends; physical goods you lawfully made and sold before the transfer may still be sold. If you breach these terms in using the artwork, the licence for that use ends.
Anyone may show any NAQSHE to talk about, review or report on the collection, and may preview seeds nobody has minted. NAQSHE that have not been minted are not licensed to anyone for commercial use.

What stays ours
- The collection as a whole, its generator as a creative work, and the name and logo.
- The design and code of this website, except where a file says otherwise.
- The right to show any NAQSHE in presenting the project, crediting the holder where we can.
Holding a NAQSHE does not give you rights in other NAQSHE, in the generator, or to mint copies of the collection.
04
Heritage and motifs
The NAQSHE draw on centuries of Persian weaving: the medallion plan, guard stripes, lattice and lozenge borders, the NAQSHE on squared paper. These traditions belong to the weavers and communities who made them. We claim no rights in traditional motifs, techniques or names, and nothing in this licence restricts anyone from using them.
The history in our library is a short introduction, written with respect. If you see something wrong or unfair, please tell us.
